Up till last season MSL had a somewhat loose system so players like Kaliyev would get an opportunity and maybe even thrive.
No more. There is going to be a hard push into a systems oriented play were EVERY player has to play a 200ft game. No exceptions.
I thought that the Habs might have been interested but from ZERO known interest, they don't think he's worth even a minor trade.
I wish him luck because he seems to want an opportunity.
