Add another prospect to the list of "guys the Kings refused to play to their strengths". He's got a hell of a shot and a nose for the net, but he's essentially been relegated to a fourth line grinder role for his entire young career.

Any teams interested in taking a shot on Kaliyev? If so, what would the return be? Kings are looking for upgrades at RW, potentially LD, and possibly in net, and clearly aren't afraid of giving up picks or prospects.

There are a couple different types of teams that I could see having interest:

1) A rebuilding team looking for some finishing talent. CHI, MTL, CBJ, SJ, and ANA come to mind, but I doubt LA would send him to one of the California teams.

2) An older, contending team looking for some finishing/PP help. PHI would make sense, but I doubt Torts would like him. MIN, FLA, and PIT could be options.

The nice thing is he is still on his ELC, so if he were to be available, there would be many interested teams.

225 of his 350 even-strength minutes this season have been centered by Dubois or Danault.

If the marlies would consider thier zamboni driver for kaliyev he could be the 1b in goal the kings have been looking for?

Arty needs a new employer BAD

Whalstrom as a starter? Isles could use more left handed shot wingers. It feels like both could benefit from a change of scenery.

Teams might take a shot….
but his ELC ends this summer so you are looking at a similsr player ending their ELC.

am upgrade at RW means someone better than him Or younger with team control with ELC term. That’s costing you more.

Send em to anaheim.
