No games for the weekend (( In Russia's time zones that is.
So thought why not bump this...

So how do you guys and gals find Bread's game vs leafs? Especially two-way wise

I thought he was as engaged as he's been this season. He was one of the few players reliably stopping pucks--made a handful of fantastic keeps at the leafs blue line.

He was solid defensively for sure. Tried to force a few passes when a shot may have been a better choice, but he was mostly solid in the o-zone, the leafs just actually seem to play D now

Panarin talks about his game after the Columbus game when he scored 2 goals:

Despite the two-goal outburst, Panarin was not happy with his play against his former Columbus teammates. “I can’t say I played pretty good tonight, honestly,” Panarin said after scoring once from the low left circle and once from the top of the right circle. “It was the luckiest space for me or the right space. I don’t know. I’m happy with my game when I [set up] a lot of chances for my teammates. But I tried. In the beginning of the year, I tried to find my game, but I don’t forget how I need to play to be good. It was maybe three games at the beginning of the year, but after I see my game on TV, it was not pretty well, so I started working. Sometimes, you feel like you’re doing everything right, but when you look at the TV, you see that you’re not skating enough, you’re not trying enough. That’s just my point. Maybe somebody is different and can see it right away. But if you get six points, you probably played okay.” Panarin has four goals and 15 points in 14 games so you can imagine how well he will play when he is happy with his game.

I truly hope he retires a Ranger.

With the records and the cups.
Me too.
Classy move from Trouba there. First thing he did before celebrating the goal was grab the puck for his team mate. It’s those little things that happen that you can see this is really becoming a team that cares.
Trouba also had another good game. That pass to panarin for the empty net was slick

Panarin is in his third season with us, which is wild because that’ll be the most seasons he’s played for any team. he will very likely be remembered years from now exclusively as a ranger. and i couldn’t be more happy

Can you imagine being the GM who traded this guy away to CBJ? It's got to be one of the worst trades of last decade.

And getting Panarin to come over was such a baller move by the hawks and they f***ed it up by trading him for Saad. Panarin has played at a 111 pt pace with the Rangers.

Bowman made 3 trades involving Brandon Saad and lost all 3.

Panarin priming to be the first Russian player on the rangers to get his jersey number retired to the rafters. Honestly if he can help the team get a cup here, and plays somewhat close to this current level for the entirety of his contract, it is a done deal.

I think there are at least 3 players who have their jersey up in the rafters when it's all over.

Panarin
Fox
Shestyorkin

It’s the same GM who traded for Seth Jones and then signed him to that abortion of a contract. Bowman lost his marbles years ago
