Panarin no, Pastrnak would be nice but not worth the assets it would take.

Please no! I'd rather the Kings just spend the money on Marner and keep the Kings assets. I also don't want the Kings to spend any money on Marner so that's saying alot.

Pastrnak is great but it's going to cost a lot more than that let alone adding Zadorov to him. It's bad asset management just like Blake did before. Pastrnak or Panarin will not take this team over the top. The Kings need to find a 1C/2C to replace Kopitar and another Top4 RHD to replace Doughty. After that is when you need to find that Top6 right handed skilled winger, and depth guys with grit and speed.

Other than money, why would a top free agent sign with LA knowing Kopitar and Doughty have 1-2 years left and the Kings don't have the talent depth to cover for those loses?

Artemi Panarin having 1 year left makes complete sense.

So waste assets on an aging vet for 1 year then once he is gone we suck more. This is how the Kings were ran from 67 till DL took over for the most part. It kept the Kings average or below but the other teams in the league loved taking our young talent and high draft picks for their vets that are aging out. Not a direction I want to see them go.

Yeah, calling someone a rapist based on allegations when the issue was already investigated independently.

And I’m “f***ing clueless?”

Ironic. Do yourself a favor and shut up.

I kind of expect the rangers to keep Panarin this season and beyond. they seem to be moving aggressively toward a grinding persona so they'll need to keep some talent around to make that work.

Panarin will be 35 to start the new contract. He would need to have an absolute monster season to be extended, and I'd assume he is looking for that 2-3 years range and not just a 1 year extension. Most teams trade their top 5 wingers to get some nice value back, but we'll probably just watch his contract expire unless the season goes south, or a nice offer comes up in the offseason and Panarin is willing to go.
