Value of: Artemi Panarin / David Pastrnak to LAK

Realistically Ken Holland has been given the go to make a push for it so I'm guessing pretty much everyone is on the table in LA at the moment.
Hmm. I suck at these trade proposals but i'll throw one out there. Panarin with 2 million retained for Laferriere, this years 1st, Kuzmenko? No clue how the value looks there so i'm probably way off

Honestly probably fair value considering Panarin only has 1 year left on his deal.

Lol just cause your team sucked this year doesn't mean you should give him away for peanuts. Laferriere is what he is probably at this point a complimentary 40ish point winger and a mid to late first for a guy whose been one of the best wingers the last five years.

That's why i included Kuzmenko too but he's a UFA. I'm not good at trade proposals but i do know LA isn't giving up a blue chipper for Panarin. 1st and Laferriere is a good base imo but of course one more player is needed imo

Lol kuz doesn't add any value to that deal even if he wasn't ufa

With the age of Bostons core, just doesn’t make sense for them to move pasta unless they were planning to rip it down to the studs.

Which looking at their moves it doesn’t seem very likely.

LA shouldn’t bother with a loser that tries to sexually assault women. Pasta would be the better player to target.

How does it not? They traded a lot of veterans. Coyle, Carlo, Marchand…it looks like a rebuild being masqueraded as a retool when the rebuild makes the most sense.

But they still have McAvoy and Swayman. They're not rebuilding. Most teams never want to rebuild at any given time. Boston won't be one of them right now. They're not trading Pastrnak. Unless he wanted out, or they got a ridiculous offer, which they won't get, because he's 29, $11m on the cap for the next half decade, NMC, etc.

And the last thing the Kings need is a player whose production goes down come playoff time, which is what happens to Panarin. He goes from a 33g, 95pt player in the regular season, to a 24g, 69pt player in the playoffs. Might get you 5 goals in 10 games, might get you 0 in 7. You never know. And he's another small winger, which is another thing the Kings don't need more of.

How about Moore and a prospect for the full cap hit for a year? No? Ok.

Bos/LA and NYR/LA make little sense as trade partners. All 3 teams are doing the same thing, which is trying to make the playoffs even though none of them will win anything.

Its not a rebuild. If it was a true rebuild they'd have moved Pastrnak, Swayman & McAvoy too.

Marchand - Pending UFA and they didn't appear to be close on an extension. That's just good asset management.
Coyle - Had one more year on his deal and wasn't part of the future. He's a very good 3C, but Boston has enough guy who can play 3C.
Carlo - The one guy that trade wise confused me because he had 2 more years on his deal for relatively cheap money.

A rebuild doesn't make sense for Boston because they have a decent core group. Its not like they have an aging core and no cap space to improve their team. Rebuilds in general are terrible. More times than not, they lead to another rebuild and in the instances where it a rebuild works, it take 8+ years.
