Did the owner from Major League just buy the flyers?Proof that Torts controls the roster.
Good players by definition aren't signing PTOs. That's a desperation move for veterans with one foot out of the league. Why don't they try targeting a good player? Just once. Give it a shot.
He wasn’t. He played in the KHL last year.Another player I didn't know was still in the league. I guess he played well under Tortorella? But that was 10 years ago.

Millano and Virtanen I take over these 2.Good players by definition aren't signing PTOs. That's a desperation move for veterans with one foot out of the league.
A mediocre rebuilding team has one thing that the very best teams in the league don't have. One thing. Massive available usage. Expectations are low, so churn through it. Youth, undervalues, question marks, flippables -- throw shit against the wall. The Flyers pick the shit up in their hand, look at it intently, and skip merrily home. They pick the wrong prospects, the overvalues, the geriatrics, the depreciating, the known knowns. And they do it damn near every time, and they purposefully do it.

Former Flyer draft pick. Getting a chance after all these years.

Hell even Motte got a cheap contract that can then be flipped.
My guess is the coach has something to do with that.Sonny Milano, that would’ve made sense to give a PTO to. Or a contract. At least you’re rolling the dice on talent.
Fletcher to Milano's agent: Hey, does Sonny want to come to Philly to play for Torts?Chris Stewart got a one-way deal after putting up 13 points in 23 EIHL games and looking like a complete plug in training camp. I like Anisimov's odds.
