id love him on this blueline. solid tough and can play top 4 mins if needed.. although what the Sens gave up has value.. Foligno is a solid player as well. good deal 4 both teams

agreed. Both are very solid hockey players.
 
I hate the Pens much, much, MUCH more than the Islanders. Been a fan since the late 70's and the Islanders haven't been relevant for 20 years. It's hard to hate teams that suck.

I hate the Devils/Isles BECAUSE I'm a Rangers fan.

I could be a Ducks fan and I would still despise the Pens. I don't see how anyone can't.

don't get me wrong, I hate them with all my heart, but watching them a lot the past few years ( ever since JT and moulson joined the team) I really respect how hard they play. I love how they are constantly buzzing around the net and MAKING chances happen, in contrast with the **** fest we watch with our team. I guess I just love the way JT plays. Also I hate the Pens entitled organization and fanbase (also in the slim chance we advanced the rangers match up horribly against the pens), so that factors in my rooting interest in the Isles for this round. It's rare that I cheer for a rival team, it often takes a feat, or player or something the change my mind about them if even temporary. The only other time this has happened for me was in 2000, I cheered for the Devils, I still hated Marty with a passion, but there was no denying that team was damn good. I have never seen a team before or since that had that much chemistry. I have never seen a team so good on both sides of the puck with arguably a roster on paper not as good as other contenders. The 2000 Devils literally won me over, and for a franchise so bashed for trapping and being boring, their chemistry and superior opportune finishing they led the league in goals that year iirc.

Did you forget Jiggs and Westfall broadcasts ?:laugh:
...........not to mention Fishler.
 
I only want the Isles to beat the Pens if the Rangers were to advance as well. I will not be a happy camper if the Fishsticks go further in the playoffs than us.
