This is a bad hockey team.
So this is the 7th time that Chicago allowed 4 goals or more in 16 playoff games. The Rangers have done it 3 times in 18 games. Chicago's D is overrated.

And far deeper at forward. In all honestly, those two teams are not really that comparable. The current Rangers are built much better (hence the reason the Devils imploded shortly thereafter) and they also employ a completely different style of play. Kovalchuk was playing so many minutes for them, it was obscene. The Ranger don't rely on any top players like that, outside of maybe McD. But that is much more of a norm for D-Men, then forwards.
I think you might be trying to be so unbiased to the point that it's almost making you not realize how good this group actually is.
This year was meant to be more of a growing year, but they have grown a lot quicker then expected. The first 15-20 games were brutal, but after that they were rather consistent for almost the entire rest of the year.
The only thing that held the Rangers back from competing for a top spot in the East was the fact that they had to learn AV's system and it took them quite a while.
I firmly believe they were a better TEAM then Pittsburgh.

Yep I Agree. I said it before too many people out there obviously don't want to see us get far. They will never give us the credit so lets just keep enjoying the fact we are playing hockey into late May and their teams are not.

There's a reason Kovalchuk has never won anything in his career. He's selfish, lazy, and backchecks worse than my dead grandmother. Lots of flash and little substance. MSL has had the much better and consistent NHL career and he's a leader. Kovalchuk isn't.

I have no idea how we'll score against this LA team, they're making the Chicago offense look silly. Actually we have to get there first, but if we do, I don't see how we can score against them.
I can't believe someone said us playing LA would be more fun than Chicago. LA just suffocates you. If you want us to get scoring chances better pray for a Chicago comeback.

He hasn't been "great" on any team. Playoffs in 4 of 12 seasons in the NHL including missing twice in four seasons with the "model franchise" Devils. Not impressed.
