Just looking at the goalies alone I'd rather play Chicago if we advance. Not to mention LA has looked good 5v5 and superior to the Hawks on special teams. Also not too keen on facing a guy we traded who's scoring so well and will have extra drive against us. I think we can take either team if they move on, but I'm starting to prefer Chicago.

That goal by Toffoli was completely reckless, what was he thinking? :sarcasm:

Lol... for real. Remember kids... don't go to the net, always keep your stick off the ice, admire your pass and play the puck, not the man. Kings looking pretty good tho

Trotz named coach of the Caps, should help them although I don't really consider them a "team" in a lot of aspects so some serious roster turnover might be needed to get them over the hump.

Man. The main board is clueless about this team. Not even giving us a sliver of a chance.

It's pretty cute.

Except they haven't been playing that great this series. They'd have to up their game significantly. We haven't been bad, but I'd feel a lot better about beating the Kings or Hawks if we were really taking it to the Habs who are not even close to that level.

We are up 3-1 on the Habs, have only trailed for less than 3 minutes in the series, and might have swept if not for a fluky/lucky goal in OT of game 3. Just saying..

I think we are seeing a case of rising (and falling) to the level of your opponent. Game one, there was so much hype about the Habs and the Rangers came out on fire. Game two, they lost some intensity but responded to the Habs uptick. Game 3 there was a pretty much lack of intensity on both sides and what you saw was a pretty good game by the Rangers but a lack of focus. I thought game 4 had the same intensity as game 3 but the coins flip dropped in the Rangers favor.

I am confident that this crew will have a competitive Finals if and when they get there.

While Lundqvist has been good the last two games, if we get the Lundqvist of the 5 games before that I'm convinced we can win at least 2 games.

One thing I'll say Quick hasn't even been that great these playoffs, the Kings all of a sudden found their scoring touch. Despite already losing 2 more games than that 2012 team I think this team is much better than that one. If they got the Quick of that year, lights out.

Wouldn't mind being the underdogs if the Rangers make it to the finals. This team has been underestimated a lot since that dismal start of the season. Keep proving them wrong!

Hoping for a Hawks win tonight. Tie the series up, the longer it goes the better for us IF we advance.
