The Pens "suffered"? You mean decided to blow coincidentally in time with Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin becoming draft eligible? And Mario throwing a ****ing hissy fit to get a new arena?

I'll never agree with you on this so let's just agree to disagree. The Hawks, yes. The Pens, absolutely not.

Agreed. **** them. No respect for a team that tanks for years upon years only to stockpile generational talents and then adds to it by trading for every other star in the league. They're an all-star team and if they don't win it all this year with that lineup they're pathetic. What they did was not a rebuild; it was tank on tank on tank for 4+ seasons.

The Rangers have their problems but at least they legitimately TRY to win every year even if it leads to some mediocre seasons.

Again, a result of the success. Teams like Detroit, Pittsburgh, Boston, Chicago, LA and Montreal are disliked because they are either very successful lately or one of the most successful teams ever. Only the teams' fans feel different. It's like that in any sport.

NFL: New England, Pittsburgh, SF, Green Bay
NBA: Chicago, LA, Miami, Boston
Football: Barcelona, AC Milan, Real Madrid, Man Utd

I would also have preferred conference finals with Toronto playing NYR and Anaheim playing San Jose. Maybe next year.

I miss the days when the Raiders were included in that NFL group. But it's been so long since they had success...:(

Exactly. The Pens did not suffer. The Hawks on the other hand did, as well as their fans.

Bill Wirtz had to have been the most greedy, frugal, and biggest ******* of any professional sports owner. Completely ran the Blackhawks into the ground and got rid of all their fans.

Blacking out home games because it's unfair to season ticket holders who pay to go to games. My God.

Game one has started.

Chicago needs to be ready for LA. This isn't Detroit/Minnesota. This is arguably the most complete team in hockey. I don't question LA's readiness — Chicago, on the other hand, I'm not sure about. If they play down to LA, they'll be golfing sooner rather than later.

NBC intermission guys are a joke. Kings get outplayed and outshot 17-2 in the first period. Looked like the Rangers. That Liam guy goes "some people say they're boring, but I don't see anything boring about Jonathan Quick standing on his head" then Milbury goes into 5 minutes about how amazing Quick is. If that same period was Rangers/Penguins they'd be saying something like "well the Rangers go lucky and their boring style persists and I don't see them hanging on all game playing like this."

Kings got ridiculously outplayed in that 1st. Quick looks unbeatable.

Agreed 100%

Anyone but the Penguins.
