I don't know, the guy is angry. It's embarrassing for the league regardless of who is in the right or wrong.
 
I also find this different because Calgary is a basement dwelling joke of a franchise and put bigger plugs than the Rangers ever even had on their roster on the ice.

Bush league from Hartley? Torts practically stormed the Calgary dressing room. That just immature and stupid. He needs to control himself. He probably just got himself suspended. I don't know how anyone can support such a bush league move by torts.

I was talking about the start of the game. Posted that before the locker room stuff.

Terrible decision as a coach for Torts, but I still respect his character as a man. Hot head though.

Okay then. It looks like a replay from that devils game. I guess torts likes these kinds of things. That locker room thing was pretty ****** though
 
Wow, Torts really freaked out there and crossed the line.

However, I do wish some of the players on this team had at least half the emotional investment and desire to stand up for their team as Torts does.
 
Vancouver is 2-5-3 in their last 10...Part of me wouldn't be at all surprised if this was jsut Torts trying to get his players going.

The guy is a very smart guy and motivator. sometimes the guys need to rally behind their coach...
 
Torts has been on a leash in Vancouver regarding ranting to the media. He couldn't take it anymore and he blew up, that's all.

Bingo!

Also take note, both instances of Torts and line brawls (3 fights is enough in the NJD game to call it a 'line brawl') happened w/ John's teams at home. If an opposing coach puts out a lineup that is designed to send a message, Tortorella has no problem responding.

Also doesn't help that Hartley isn't particularly liked in NHL circles, and didn't help his case by acting like he didn't put out that lineup (especially w/ Westgarth at Center).
