Honestly, being coached by Marty St. Louis is probably the best outcome for the kid and the NHL. f*** the Habs though.

Dude's got the speed and elusiveness reminiscent of McDavid and the unreal shot placement/release of Matthews. Not saying he's gonna be as good as either, but he's got the tools to be a legit generational talent.

His size probably marks him as a winger in the NHL. But honestly he’s probably the same size as Sid.
I think he could be as good as McDavid.
I think he probably is a little easier to control in our locker room.

If his size doesn't hinder him, I think he'll be better than those guys. He's a better playmaker than Matthews but with the same sort of ridiculous shot. He's also got a more cerebral game than Mackinnon.
Just depends how much being 5'9 will hamper his ability to play his game at the next level.

Matthew Barnaby has a podcast on YouTube I've been listening to recently. He brings other players from the 90s era to the show and it's pretty cool to hear the off the ice stories and how the off the ice is different today than back then.
