If the B's can get past the Panthers without Bergeron while Tampa and the Leafs pretty literally beat the shit out of each other..................

I don't give either team (Tampa or Leaves) much of a prayer in round 2.........

Two very puzzling calls against Foligno pretty much lose the game for the Wild, as Dallas scored on both PP.

One silver lining of not being in the playoffs is not getting angry at incompetent refs losing you games in the playoffs.

Just absolutely f***ing the wild with those calls. Maybe that's why I root for them; it reminds me of our plight i.e. Sabres vs the world

Heh, Skinner gave Arvidsson the 5-hole but forgot to take it away.

Nurse doing his level best to not defend anyone near his net tonight.

I don't give any team any chance playing Boston. Their defensive discipline is better than Carolina's. Their PK is aggressive and in your face and the PP team facing them has zero time to think. Their quick strike offensive abilities is on par with McDavis and Drasaitl but it's deeper than just those 2. Linus is a brick wall and always square to the shooter.

And they hit and hit and then hit some more.

That Nurse contract is brutal.
If Woodcroft is smart, Nurse does not see the ice the entire OT.

From the games I seen this weekend it seemed the lower seeded teams got screwed by bad calls......almost as if there was a league bias, but we know that's not true. right?

Ooooof. Another leaky one from Korpi ends it.
Korpisalo is a huge buyer beware goalie this summer.

The reffing has somehow gotten even worse than in the regular season. The swings between ticky-tack calls (all the trips that are basically guys bumping each other, Foligno getting two minutes for finishing a check about a second after the puck was gone and another two for a guy leaping out of the way to avoid a hit and falling afterwards) and the usual dinosaur/game management BS (Stamkos not getting an instigator penalty for jumping Matthews while he was literally picking up sticks, the Canes scoring an OT winner in a sequence following a high stick to the face, cross checks and interference galore in parts of every game) have been nuts
