Around the NHL: PTO Season Becomes Waiver Season

Eh, Tampa lost Hedman AND Cernak in game 1. I wouldn't write Toronto's chances off just yet since those guys are 2/3rds of the Lightning's defense. I would think the Leafs start taking some major league runs at Sergechev in Game 2 - they can afford to just cycle through low-payroll toughguys like Simmonds or recall Clifford to do it but it's what I'm expecting.

Isn't Hedman a game time decision or is he already out? Bunting out 3 games might help a bit on Tampa defensemen getting run.
 
I see NHL com has downgraded its gamereport page once more; even with 4k I cant get a full stat line without scrolling and lots of empty spaces; ah and the removed the playing time PP and SH yesszz. where do one find a full game report now???
When I look at it I can see what they did; they just programmed it for mobile not for desktop format ( the regular stats page is still in the old format it seems)

they bend or ignore their own rules; they re willingly or unwillingly manufacture the outcome of games; since the online betting frenzy, I would make a visit to check them and their inner works; give the dinosaurs an extinction scare

they should add immigration check list questions to adress this right below the questions were they ask if you have been involved with the 3rd Reich lol.
"have you been involved with "pretending" behind the Sabres bench between 2019-21?"
 
Late to post this but I was watching the Islander-Canes game and focused on Mayfield. Man, he clears the net on the PK like not a single guy on our roster does. Definitely wouldn’t mind picking him up as Power’s partner.

Any team that loses their elite defenseman and another very good top-4 defenseman is going to struggle, especially in the playoffs when youre playing a good team, and the pace + intensity is full throttle.

A team like Boston can because they have more defensive depth.
