I think the problem is Cernak. He's been out and it really is the equivalent of the Sabres losing Sameulsson.
Cernak played one game of the past 10, (the OT loss to the Sabres). Tampa's record in their last ten with him just playing that one game is 2-5-3.
They were 14-6 the previous 20 with him in the lineup.

Tampa getting zero shots was still more entertaining in getting them than Carolina is scoring 6 goals.

I've seen all the posts saying that TB is out of reach. I think they're about to take a complete nosedive in the last 20 games. They have a tougher schedule than Buf. Buffalo might not catch them, but Ottawa could. Regardless it's going to be close...last game close.
