Happy Florida won. That's the kind of team I want to see Anaheim become. They were fast and skilled but tough and physical when they needed to be.

Bonus that the Canada drought continues

Legacy game on Monday night for Paul Maurice (but not for the reasons you may be thinking). Can he deliver?

He did not, by the way. Good thing he didn’t, because if you have more regular season regulation losses than any coach ever AND would have had this choke job, you would have lived in historically awful company on your own for eternity.

I’m happy for him too. Coaching lifer who seems like a really good dude

My damn ceiling gave out tonight. Did it break because it knew my hatred for the oilers? did it give the panthers extra strength?

I don’t have an issue with a Canadian team winning the Cup. I have an issue with THIS Canadian team winning the Cup. Also Montreal and Toronto, mainly because of their fans. I’d be fine with the other 4 winning, as long as we aren’t involved.
I'd actually actively root for Ottawa (unless it's a finals rematch). That fan base has been through a lot. And I've never had a bad experience with their fans
