I agree the Oilers are the favourite, but I don’t think either Dallas or Winnipeg will be beat up. Hasn’t been a very physical series. Also if it goes 7, that’s a long wait for Edmonton and that’s almost always disadvantageous for teams.Looks like it’s the Oilers cup to lose. They’ll face a beat up Dallas or Winnipeg and it’s pretty clear the east doesn’t have much jam this year.

Those are my thoughts too. EDM seems to be able to skate themselves out of trouble so far. They wouldn't be able to do that against CAR. Of course Canes finishing needs to be on point to make it that far and succeed.I can see Carolina being a bad matchup for the Oilers. The Canes play with so much structure and have the players to play against McDavid and Draisaitl. Also Andersson has played really good playoffs so far.
Believe itLol
If the Jets manage to win this….
I wish, going to be a quick series for Oilers. Stars offense is not around, like Vegas.Hopefully the Stars eviscerate the Oilers
Canadian teams don’t winStill waiting for the Jets to do anything since they came into existence.
How can you not? I wanted him to come out of the box and win this thing. Samberg should get an honorary assist on the GWG screening Hellebuyck.Kind of feel for Scheifle tbh.
I always wondered: if they're such a hockey town that they can sustain a pro team in a small market, why are they always bottom 5 in attendance even through these years as a contender?Still waiting for the Jets to do anything since they came into existence.
Jets ownership got slack in selling corporate tickets. Sales have improved since last year.I always wondered: if they're such a hockey town that they can sustain a pro team in a small market, why are they always bottom 5 in attendance even through these years as a contender?
His last two games have been solid, but Skinner sporting a 3.05, .884 with a banged up Pickard coupled with Oil's history of goalie meltdowns gives me pause. They'll have to earn it, getting through DAL and CAR/FL.Looks like it’s the Oilers cup to lose. They’ll face a beat up Dallas or Winnipeg and it’s pretty clear the east doesn’t have much jam this year.
Second round is the kiss of death for President's Trophy winners
Their roster is pretty deep everywhere except the glaring hole at 2C, which Hellebuyck can erase during the regular season but when you need more than 1 goal in an elimination game it’s tough. To be honest, I look at that Jets lineup and wonder how they won the President's Trophy. They look to me to be in that "good team, but not great" group of teams.
