Hiller is such a dumb f*** of a coach. It's funny how much they play like the Pens under Sully. Perimeter shots galore, awful defensive zone coverage where they get brutally out shot, passive af.
Also the amount of bullshit the Oilers were able to get away with is just ridiculous. f*** them and their shitty fan base.

Refs made sure of it. Canes flopped around so damn much, it was atrocious to watch. Just a flat out embarrassing performance by the officials in the playoffs this year and they’re pretty f***ing bad every year.

That, and tensions are probably higher due to some people being pissed about our (IMO bullshit) election results.
Well Leafs perennial choking for 58 years has gotta cause some brain damage no doubt.

Think Leafs fans probably should come around to the idea that it’s their core of choke artists that are the problem. It wasn’t Dubas or Keefe or Treliving or Berube. It’s Matthews, Marner, Nylander and Reilly. Career losers.

On the bright side, the Kings didn't turtle for the latter parts of the game. Because they turtled from the opening face-off.
Would be interesting to see if the Canes can keep up this power play efficiency against a team that isn't decimated by injuries. Probably not but I hope the annihilate the Caps anyway. Markstrom allowed one very bad goal in regulation but the OT was probably even more lopsided than the Kings - Oilers game 4 and he delayed the inevitable by half an hour.
When Vegas didn't have a shot on goal for like 15 minutes I was so sure MAF was going to allow the first shot in but I was wrong. The Wild lost anyway, alas.
Toronto, please win the series because otherwise this forum will be offline for like a week, the servers won't be able to bear all the schadenfreude.
