Ive said this a bunch. He has too gain muscle. Hes been injured more often then not. He’s such a great player but injuries are already dominating his career. The Devils better get on top of this if they want him to have a career.
Not here to troll or anything but I saw this comment....which was curious to me. He got body slammed on his shoulder by Lauzon and got hit knee on knee ( albeit not on purpose ) not sure how "gaining muscle" prevents either of those ?

Reaves for the devils first !
Not so much a enforcer but some bigger boys who can bang. Seems to be a priority heading into the offseason with Brodeur already mentioning in a interview we'd like to be adding size to the roster to help create more space on the ice for the Hughes and Bratts of the team.

Looks like there is a real chance Vegas might be missing the playoffs. They were trying to Tampa it and run a 90+ mil team, would be hilarious if that plan failed. Even if they bring back Stone at some point they will not be able to activate Smith/Pacioretty pre PO.

so literally the thing the rangers did this offseason where everyone said "they made themselves worse"

I like the idea and want them to continue but they look terrible. I think that's why i like it. It's different
maybe if they weren't so tacky? like if they had a more matte finish the way brushed steel does. or if they changed their third jersey to match it. just wearing it randomly with your dark uniform just looks terrible. I'm not opposed to the idea but please make it not look bad.

Matthews wins it in OT for the Leafs with goal 56

He's on fire. His hands seem to have gotten better. He looks faster tbh

Down to him and Josi for Hart. I think this little slump hurt Shesty too much.... Maybe if he finishes really really strong

Yea I think Shesty lost it, Matthews and Josi never took their foot off the pedal. It's ok, I'm happy with a Vezina for Shesty :)

Not trying to be a massive homer but I still think if you remove Shesty you take away more wins for us than if you removed Matthews or Josi.
I think you might be right, but I’ve never really liked this way of looking at MVP voting in sports. I feel like it’s better to just try to gauge Player A’s body of work to Player B’s body of work this season, obviously taking into account their team situation with personnel/injuries. But once you start looking at in terms of “taking them away” I think it becomes more biased towards guys on worse teams. Yes the leafs probably can handle losing Auston matthews much more easily than the Rangers losing Igor, but I don’t think that means Matthews has provided less “value”in his play this year. Put him on the Rangers with an average goalie in place of Igor and I’m honestly not sure where they are. Yes they get significantly worse goaltending but their 5v5 play is guaranteed to be astronomically better from day 1.

I would live to see a first round matchup of Tampa and Carolina.

That would be amazing that one of those teams goes home in 1st round.

I want to see Boston-Carolina R1. We match up well with the Bruins in a 2nd round matchup
