Yes Jacky is very good. His boy body is not good. Let's see him play one full season not getting broken by a totally routine hit.
The hit that injured Jack's shoulder was not routine

he got his entire torso ridden up the wall by the knee of a 6'5" goon, then fell hard on his shoulder

i dont disagree hes tiny but he usually does well to dodge hits. Kakko thats not an issue, aint nobody knocking him down at the boards once hes 23

Woah woah

for the record I am only a Mets fan because my family is and itd an easy way to stay in touch

I actually despise all NY sports growing up in NJ surrounded by their fans. Also never liked how NY football teams are in NJ and I lost my Nets to Brooklyn

@Boris Zubov I love the NHL and the Rangers are part of that

you have to love to hate your enemies - without the Rangers my like for hockey wouldnt have taken off so quickly

Plus I dont feel im being rude so I dont see it as an issue to post here from time to time

Don’t you also find it gross that your team is broadcasted by channel named MSG?

Hughes with another three point game but I’ll be damned if that wasn’t a vintage Mike Smith awful goaltending game. Merger’s goal and the OT goal just can’t go in at the NHL level. They do sometimes though, just not for Kakko.

Ovechkin breaks the PPG record but what’s really crazy to me is seeing Ovie at 50 points before the half way mark, and leading the NHL in EV goals and EV points. Ovie has 38 EV points… next is McDavid with 30. That’s a sizable gap, especially for a guy who people felt had turned into a one trick PP specialist.

Edmonton coming back down to earth? Man if they miss the playoffs and waste another year of McDavid... well thats just criminal. That free agency doomsday clock is ticking, and the Rangers should have the pieces and cap to make it happen.

....and in Rangers fashion, he'll turn into a shell of the player he was

Alex Tuch scores. That means a player traded in-season has scored. That means that the ratio of posts speculating about trades to the number of goals scored by players traded is now 1,000,000,000,000:1.

They should put Ken Holland and David Gettelman in a room and make them solve one of those escape puzzles together. Two of the hardest headed current people in their industries; every year with the Oilers it's defense, depth, and goaltending, just like the Giants with the OLine and Pass Rush. And every year both GMs talk about how they'll fix it.

Is this where the isles start their march back to the playoffs? It would be awesome if they miss it after the last few years.

I’d be lying if I said this hasn’t crossed my mind several times recently. Can you imagine if Eichel and VGK sweep EDM in Rd 1 and go deep? Or even worse, EDM misses entirely? I think there’s a real possibility that’s the final nail in the coffin for McDavid. If it is, who in the Eastern conference could compete with us as a feasible destination? No GM (likely a new one by that point) would dare send him West and he has a NMC starting next year.

Winter classic looks really cool. It’s -8 there right now and “feels like” -28. That’s insane.

I liked how they had the players introduced and skate out of a log cabin, reminds me of Mystery, Alaska which is one of my favorite sports movies. Very underrated.
