Just wanted to come by and say thanks to all of you for the good luck wishes and confidence even after ours got ripped to shreds after that game six.

I would say a bromance is forming between these teams but I still feel like the Rangers hate us after we fleeced you guys for McD.
Yeah, well we fleeced you in the Daniel Walcott trade, so it washes out.

Honestly surprised Friedman/McKenzie/LeBrun/etc. haven't really said anything about the Chicago 2010 sexual assault/abuse stuff yet.

Shows how much they value their social connects more than doing their job, IMO.

Kudos to Powers/Westhead/Strang/etc. for their investigative/reporting work so far.
Friedman appears to be. TSN and the Athletic already have their guys going on it, I don't think they need everyone working on the outlet offering their thoughts.

Ah. Did not see that Friedo/Marek recorded an early 31 Thoughts. Looking forward to listening to this tomorrow after I wake up.

As for the Athletic 'insiders'....idk would be nice for them to say something other than just simply RT'ing an article, ya know?

Good to see Friedman will apparently actually have something to say about it instead of just signal-boosting others' work, ya know?

Well he literally just tweeted that, so there's no way you would have.

Wondering how many people this is going to take down. Can't see Bowman surviving. Bergevin and Cheveldayoff? Stories today makes it seem like they definitely knew.

Unfortunately, the NHL will probably shelve this until post-SCF (affects Bergevin) and even then...they'll probably prolong this as best as they can.

How about Q? I don’t see how he wouldn’t have known, being the head coach and all. Would be absolutely devastating for his legacy if he knew.

What is the Chicago 2010 story? Can someone sum it up.

Two Chicago Blackhawks players are accusing then video coach Bradley Aldrich of sexual assault during the 2010 playoffs. This was brought to the attention of the Blackhawks management who proceeded to do nothing about it.

Aldrich left to coach a high school hockey team where he then spent time in jail for sexually assaulting a minor. The Blackhawks are being sued by that then-minor for allegedly writing positive references for Aldrich when he left the team knowing he was a predator.

A video coach sexually assaulted two unnamed players in 2010. Everyone in the Blackhawks organization top to bottom knew about it and nothing was done. The team even wrote the coach a letter of recommendation for his next job and take one guess what he did when he got to his next job.

So basically, the Blackhawks were complicit in three sexual assaults (at least).

honestly outside of the one series against the penguins I don’t think Hank ever stole a series from a team that was better than our team during those runs. Two 2-0 leads against the Kings that was a spot he needed to show he was the best in the world and obviously couldn’t finish. Great great goalie but he never went white hot in the playoffs outside of that pens series in my opinion

shouldn’t have lost to the devils in the ECF. Definitely shouldn’t have lost to the senators when Anderson was just as bad. Hank had his chances he didn’t carry the team come playoff time. Yea he was good in some big spots. But he never took his game to another level to steal a series from a better team

Everyone always talks about getting shut out in games 5 and 7 vs Tampa in 2015, but can we talk about giving up 6 goals in back to back games in games 2 and 3 that series? If Lundqvist puts up even a decent performance in one of those games, we win in 6, and aren't having this conversation.

I wasn't on this board yet, but I was fuming when I heard the McD trade.

Especially considering how much Tampa took us to the cleaners with the St. Louis trade.

Both on the return (at the time, I wanted Sergachev over Howden/Hajek), and the Miller part.

I knew Miller didn't have a future here, but that was a complete giveaway.

Not going to rehash this for the 9 millionth time but we all wanted Sergachev over Howden/Hajek. You can wish in one hand and shit in the other and see which one gets filled first. Tampa was not parting with Sergachev.

I’ll give the isles credit for one thing: of the three series they played, they played by far their best against Tampa. The Islanders who showed up against Pitt or Boston gets swept or bounced in 5.

Montreal needs to take it to another level or it’s going to go that way for them. Tampa is basically Toronto with experience, diversity and a goalie. Okay they aren’t Toronto at all, but they’ve got that speed and the depth of a Toronto with the diversity and intangibles that they lacked.

again they may not have a choice.

they have to clear so much money.
Even if it comes down to letting go one of their more effective forwards get ready to pay up. The rangers won’t be the only team asking about him.
They are better off attaching assets and trading a stamkos or Johnson or killorn even though he’s been excellent these playoffs
