Well, considering the direction Vegas was heading before Gallant was terminated to where they are now, I don't think so.

Vegas was 3rd in the division, just a few points behind Vancouver. And they said it was performance based. They pulled the trigger way too early for a coach who got them into the play offs twice and to the Stanley Cup final once in their first 2 seasons. Coaches don't build up any credit in sports. I understand why people criticize the firing, even if Vegas is on a 7-game winning streak

Sucks that they couldn’t find a deal to send Jumbo out to a team competing for a cup. Sharks are such a disaster.

NYR made a huge jump in playoff probability last night, now sitting at 44%.

Take a look at the history - on Feb 21st, they were sitting at 15.5% :o

yeah not concerned about the Isles but am starting to get concerned about the Flyers. That AV boost that got us to the final... I know everyone in here is convinced he's the worst coach of all time but he's got a track record of really improving teams right away.

We've been through this imo. When AV comes in, he brings his offensive scheme with him. Which in the first season complements whatever system that team had to begin with. In our case Torts defensive scheme got complemented by the offensive scheme and we had a baller ass team that first year.

Then slowly his shitty defensive scheme overrides what players did learn before and the teams start crapping out.

These are all well and good, but the push starts now.

The good news? They don't have to be near flawless as they have been this month. Theres a bit more leeway the rest of the way where they can probably afford to lose 5-6 games.

NJ's playoff chances look a whole lot like their attendance numbers.

Want some salt go on the isles board and read how bad our prospects are compared to Dobson and Wahlstrom. ADA , Fox , Chytil and KK are just average potential players with no star potential . ‍♂️♂️

Earlier this season Bobby Ryan enrolled himself into the player assistance program for his problems with alcohol addiction. Tonight was his first home game back in the lineup. He scored a hat trick

This was incredible. Very happy for Bobby Ryan who's had a terrible run of injuries alongside joining an org. mid-collapse.
