Eichel 2 goals. Nice job holding it and pulling the string.

That last Eichel goal was special. End to end...blazing speed, great deke and the toe drag....ridunkulous!!.

Wanna know the first thing I thought after I stopped saying holy shit...what a goal? Glad you asked Will...lol

I said, that's the kind of goal I expect we will be seeing from Kakko before too long...

Sabres have way too much high end talent to not make the playoffs within next 2 years. And according to one of my college buds who's a huge Sabre fan and who lives up in Rochester where we went to school, he feels they now they have the right coach to lead them in Ralph Kreuger. Apparently the players love the guy.

Sabres will put it together very soon and I have a hunch that when the time comes when we are really good...year or two from now, Buffalo just might be one of the better teams in the Atlantic.

For the first time since Buffalo had the Mogilny's, Lafontaine's, Hasek's, Hawerchuck's...we are talking 25 years or so, I'm actually looking forward to some Ranger Sabre games this year as they very likely will be high flying exciting affairs.

AV's not gonna be happy with that Hayes tripping penalty

Buffalo PP is good.

VERY good. I very smartly if I do say so myself drafted Rasmus Dahlin in my longtime 12 team $$ fantasy league and I've watched the Sabres in all their games and their PP might be...don't laugh...the best in the league this year. They are money so far this season and frankly I don't see it being a fluke. Alot of high end talent on that club as I said and it's starting to come together.

These Sabres jerseys need tweaks. Go to blue not navy, and make the 50ths their aways. And get rid of that ghastly chest number.

Funny, I'm total opposite of you. I'm totally digging Sabres going back to their original white unies from back in 1970. And these dark ones are very appealing to my eyeballs. Gotta luv it...two peeps who have totally different points of view...go figure...lol

Hayes has had at least 3-4 top notch scoring opportunities which he has failed to cash in on so far.

Sound familiar?...lol

He's never being confused with a great finisher. More a playmaker.

NHL is determined to make Chance the Rapper's Lazlo Holmes succeed

Carter Hart just robbing the Debbies.

Was just about to say that. Flyers may have finally found their goalie after all these years and the could be a scary thought for the Metro.

Hart looks like a keeper and if this is the case, Flyers will no doubt be in the playoff mix as they look much improved over last year and they might be one of those fringe teams that keeps us out of the playoffs. We'll see but the Metro is going to be very very competitive this season as there will be no "easy" games or gimmes unlike most years when a team or two typically stinks...not this year as every team in the Metro looks improved.

Ralph Krueger amazingly looks like a Ralph Krueger.

Habs torched by the PP

Eichel smart play. Time was winding down on the PP, so he just decided to throw it on net. Scramble ensues and goal.

Debbie fan base is going to need to be talked off the ledge. For them to start the year 0-3 being outscored as I type this 15-6 with all the hype and high hope they had in the off season has to be brutal.

I'll likely head over to their board in a few for shits and giggles to read a few of the game day comments but I can already predict that it's going to be a massive "sky is falling" cornucopia...lol

Devils look like shit... They give waaaay too much space to the opposition. Hughes also learning he's not gonna get away with all these blind passes that only work in the minors
