Namestnikov lmfao how does he still have a career lmfao

He’s never been bad. He’s a pretty solid bottom six player he’ll retire with 400+ points, being a heavy career + player (+36 now), he plays a bit physical, skates well, takes care of both ends. He’ll likely make it to 1000 NHL games. We hope Sykora can be this player, basically.

He does it every year. Cannot keep his cool. Dallas got some shit reffing up to that point though, the fact that they end up on the PP with 7 left shouldn’t impact this one; it’s too late.
He does it every game. Part of me really likes the throwback Messier type game he plays, but he's a really dirty sonofabitch on too many occasions. He crosses the line with his egregious cross checks to the back on literally every play that winds up near his own goalie. They're not love taps, they are forceful & meant to injure.

Otter is genuinely a top tier goalie. Hank has been a fan for several years, he’s been praising Otter above most young goalies since his first year in the booth if I recall correctly. He is finding his consistency; when he was a bit younger he wasn’t as steady but the talent was there. Keep in mind he is a good deal younger than Igor, so this year’s playoffs for him are like Igor’s first trip to the ECF. He’s a verrrry good goalie. Younger than all of Igor, Hellebuyck, Sorokin, Vasilevsky, by a full 3-5 years each.

Dallas needs to find their offense badly tonight. Outside of three Finns - Rantanen, Hintz, Granlund - they’ve been fairly anemic. That Seguin post will haunt them tonight. Lindell is underrated; he’s been huge on D tonight. Robertson may be healthy but he hasn’t gotten back into the games. Slow start to the season and he was super hot, that injury was unfortunate.
I've noticed this year you have a good grasp about a lot of players league wide. I often only see some guys (especially west coast guys) when they play the Rangers. You must watch a lot more games than I do to be so educated on other teams guys.

Im kind of jealous of Toronto that after they lose today they can just let Marner and Tavares walk and move on unlike the Rangers who are stuck with our stars who arent good enough.

They can, but I don’t think they have the balls to rip the bandaid off

Think its less about balls and more about NMCs.

They can certainly choose to make life miserable for players they want to move who don't comply as they've done before but I don't think they venture down that road again.

They do need to try to punt Panarin elsewhere though if he's agreeable to it. Already tried to build around him and it failed and there is no need to try it one last time with a shittier iteration.

I mean Toronto doesn’t have the balls to.

I will be in Florida in early / mid- June so hopefully I don’t have to see the locals celebrate another Cup. I’ll be on the western side of the state, though, so probably safe.
