Didn't Matt Murray play very well in the AHL and the NHL before he got injured? Lots of players get called up from the AHL. Does that make them AHL players?

Binny did spend some time in the AHL. Like some goalies it took some time for him to find his way. Does that make him an AHL goalie? He also was an NHL all star goalie.

Adin Hill won while not having a great career before hand so Ill give you that one.

Cam Ward was a first round pick. He played very well as a young 19-20 year old kid in the AHL and also played very well in the NHL. He won the Conn Smythe trophy and was a NHL all star goalie. To label him a "AHL goalie" is silly imo. He also just became the first pick in the NFL draft so he must be a great athlete!

Goalies matter. Goaltending matters. If you want to say they should not be paid $11 mill a year I can understand but they do matter. You can throw out a few outliers but I doubt you will find any NHL players that will say goaltenders do not matter.

Steve Dangle is probably 30% accurate feels, 70% exaggerated act for content. This is what made him famous, and got him into hockey media. When he's on his podcast with Adam Wylde and Jesse Blake, he's nothing like that. Calm, and has very good takes and level headed opinions.

I don't really like his Leafs videos, reactions or that live stuff. Not for me, I agree that it's mostly annoying and not funny. But on and his buddies on their podcast? Probably one of the better hockey podcasts out there.

I like watching Dangle's trade tree videos. Mentions things I had forgotten or never knew.

I'm not a Leafs fan, so I don't get wrapped up in his rantings when the Leafs lose. Some of his reactions are likely for show; to get noticed; he's not the only one who does it.
