In that order. I don't think the Habs are that great of a team. Especially with Emelin out.
 
Whoever we play we'll have to beat. An Ottawa team that was handing goals away like soup at at shelter during the regular season took us 7 games and at one point had the upper hand in the series. Doesn't matter who we play really.

Agreed but we will get washington since that is the norm.

And as long as the Peg-Caps game doesn't go to OT and we win, we will be in a good spot.

Hoping Peg loses in regulation though. I think OV will come out flying tonight.
 
Love listening to all of the Ranger haters. On Winnipegs 1290am they had Dave Schreiber (Ottawa's radio announcer) and Schreiber reiterated over and over how he would LOVE to see the Rangers collapse and miss the playoffs and for Ottawa and Winnipeg to make it.
Its unreal. I guess Ottawa is still a little hurt from losing in the first round to us last season :)

The entire NHL hates us. It's us against the world and I absolutely love it
 
Rangers are hated because they're not a small market team and aren't bleeding money. That doesn't sit well with many fans.

It's like the Yankees. Everyone hates them cause they have a lot of money and can sustain insane amounts of spending and well... Who isn't jealous of our city ;)

Not even close. We're like the Cubs. At least the Yankees have a history of being a dominant, contending franchise.

Peg has the weakest goaltender in all of Eastern playoff contention right now, if you ask me
Ovi is way too hot, scoring at least 1 PPG
MTL is dying a slow death after letting off the pedal 6 games ago (or so?)
Boston is a flip-flop... The team itself is solid, but theres some major inconsistencies. How they'll shut out a team one game and then lose by 2 the next is very odd... As it's been said, Rask is a headcase when it comes to goals against. He lets one in (especially early) and his confidence goes down the drain
Pittsburgh needs to play a team like the isles so they can get worn down. Personally, the Isles are probably one of the few teams that are fit to beat them

I'm also predicting that Ottawa is going to drop out of the race...
 
IMO...the Habs are a team we should be able to handle quite easily . However we seem to be snake bitten by them for really no good reason other than we just have it in our heads we can't beat them...that has got to be righted either this playoff if we meet them or during the regular season next year . That issue has to be corrected...Torts if he is still here has to find a way to beat that team who are not as good as we are .
