SC is wide open ....not for our nyr.....why not go for it. 10 and 20 are mighty pieces....Bread can stay with his bf bobo like miller and troch...next yr is like under 6mill for 10

4th round pick from 2019 Del Gazio scored his 1st NHL goal tonight while 2ed round pick from 2019 Matthew Robertson cant even get into an NHL game. How the hell did Robertson not develop after juniors? How does that happen, lack of smarts?
Robertson can absolutely take an NHL shift but he's in a camp like a lot of those DMen who got a few games with the Rangers throughout recent years or should have (Liffiton, Lampan, Kondratiev, Potter, Allen, Baranka, Reunennean, Scanlin, Guenin, and even Ryan Graves). They're very unassuming and boring and don't stand out in any way even in the minors. Some may have a career in the right situation (Potter did ok for himself as a lower pair guy, Guenin played for a bit, and Graves was very good for about 3 years), but they're generally considered like bottom of the barrel.

Drury is doing the right thing. Even though I've disagreed with a few of the moves he's made since becoming GM, I don't think his assessment of the team is off base.

The hope is that he sees how bad it is to have soft players, but he keeps his perspective and doesn't go full Lamoriello as we start turning over this core.

Yeah he is only going after heavy big framed decent speed and evolving skills. We are going to buy the upper tier top 6 and top LD.

Yes. His processing is bad and that's all there is to it. It's a game of split second decisions.

Devils are losing tonight. Rangers can get hot over this final stretch and catch them imo. It will depend on how the defense holds up without Fox.

Huge game tomorrow for us against the Isles. Ottawa playing in Washington. Caps have lost 3 in a row. The Metro playoff race should be good down the stretch. Some teams need to decide if they want to sell pieces. Drury has smartly bought and sold.

Unfotunate play because Eichel barely touched him. Just going full speed and went crashing into boards.

I wonder why there's no thread in the main boards about Trouba right now after he laid one of his signature hits again in Anaheim. I guess his hits are okay now with the league being that he's not a Ranger anymore?

I mean, could just be no one watches Anaheim, so no one besides Ducks fans even know it happened.

Going into the boards at nearly full speed with no real time to brace for impact is going to f*** up a ton of people. I don't think that has much to do with Jack being a twig.

This kind of thing keeps happening to him though. The shoulders are definitely a problem (4th shoulder injury in the last 4 seasons if this is a shoulder again) and will likely continue to be a problem.

I can't root against the NYR especially since Drury is already selling. I want Drury to continue to sell but also our guys try to win.

This isn't Giants fans wanting 3-14 rather than 6-11. We're in a playoff hunt. Most Rangers fans I would have to think are rooting for wins. Rooting for losses at this point on this board isn't any less trollish than Islanders fans doing it.

we have as much chance to win the Stanley Cup as the Giants do.

That's why we need sweeping changes.

Need to lose the battle to win the war.
