A first lol but seriously i guess another puck would've been nice.
I said a week before the trade I hoped for a 2nd but could see anywhere from a 2nd down to a 5th. Last season was pretty bad for KK and this season was only a 11 goal pace so I don't think a 1st was anywhere close to possible at that point in time. Maybe in 2022.

If Brogen gets moved it will likely be for another pick.

Wennberg at least flirted with 60 points once...

Well, he made Kakko look like prime Peter Forsberg here. Remember that accidental game winner he scored in the playoffs? He was a pure offensive black hole. There’s still a chance for Kak. This summer will be huge for him, if he can get into a well structured good team, who knows. He’s turning 24 not 28.

calamity: isles prospects having great wjc jus like ours

Nelson's a nice prospect.

Eiserman literally sucks at everything other than shooting the puck but that happens to be something that he's excellent at. I don't really know what to make of him because his game is so porous overall but he's popped goals at a pretty insane rate everywhere he's been.

He'd be a spare forward. I have no interest in having him take Cuylle or Berard's spots. I'm sure Kaliyev would love being that close to his family though.
Right now... Sure... But hopefully they unload some forwards soon for prospects/picks.

So does this Vatrano extension mean the Rangers could’ve just deferred a f*** ton of Igor’s contract if he agreed to it?

They could’ve given him like $10m more to defer the majority of the contract and have a lower AAV.

They can't deffer a f*** ton, IIRC. And 99% of the players want nothing to do with deferring. It's not like the GMs suddenly figured out they can do this, they knew but no players were interested.

And frankly (no pun intended), I don't really see this as some savvy move for Vatrano either. He's going to save on taxes now sure, but inflation will eat that difference away. How much does he think 900k is worth in 2044?

Kaliyev on waivers... Rangers should take a chance. He's talented, they need that.
How is his skating? Feels like we have really little depth this season. Id only want to take a look at him if he can skate.

If the price was cheap would it be crazy to bring Dylan back as a 7th dman? We could use somebody tough and mean as a spare.
