The more a player struggles, the more Laviolette puts him out there. Should be the opposite. That's basically why we're not gonna be a top team this year.

I read this, with the past 15 years in mind. Coaches before Lavi did this too. Infuriating as a fan.

Maybe I only remember Torts being the only coach (in my tenure as fan) that benched players and then talked no BS to the media.

It is mind-boggling that they again broke up functioning lines and sheltered vets. It's a directive, has to be. No collective of humans can otherwise be that daft.

When Mika was describing the type of RWer he’d want to play with it was literally Kakko. Holds onto the puck, strong along the boards, good passer.
