This was worse cause player hit his blocker and pushed it back as opposed to Kreider being hit by the goalie and making it seem like it was Kreider hitting.

Buffalo is such a mess. This is why you can’t hand the keys to the kids even when you go full slash and burn rebuild. This Sabres rebuild is worse than the Oilers Hall/Eberle/Nuge/Yakupov rebuild.

The Dahlin, Cozens, and Samuelson contracts are insanely brutal. You can’t give that money and term when none of them have proven a damn thing in this league. I think the Power contract will age well. At least TT does stuff when he’s healthy.

From a cursory perusing of Calgary's thread on him, it looks like he hasn't been able to solidify himself as an NHL talent. Whatever he showed at lower levels hasn't translated to the NHL. Was compared to Marchand/Gallagher apparently in terms of being an uber pest with a high motor. Two shoulder injuries that have contributed to a lack of development. Was lacking in his defensive game as well.

We already have an equivalent type of prospects in our pool and for every Marchand there are literally hundreds of prospects that couldn't get through the last (AHL to NHL) threshold.

Not sure how much sarcasm or humor you put into there but there definitely will be market for Lindgren for teams with similar to Buffalo situations. Vet leadership is a thing that makes a detrimental difference on the rosters that lacking it.

People on this forum when people start bashing the Rangers.

At least the Rangers are in the mix and have a legit chance to win the cup.

In the Ducks defense though they looked pretty good the first 3 games, this one was one of their worst in at least a couple of years.
