Enjoy your stay in La Belle Province!
I live here, and let me tell you, hockey truly is 24/7, 365 here!

The players, coaches, media and fans did not approve of Torts' comments after Tueday's game (bad teams, boring, etc...), so even though they won the game, they'll want to prove that they're a good, exciting team...could spell trouble for us, or could provide us with an opportunity, if they're not playing their game...
BTW, Prust did not practice yesterday (a little banged up), but is expected to play, and looks like Gallagher will be in tonight as well. No injuries for them at all...

Hockey everywhere all the time is a NIGHTMARE when you're not playing well... especially in Montreal. What seems like a fan's dream is not a player or coach's dream.

Correct! That is why many players, including Francophones (Briere, immediately comes to mind) don't sign here as free agents.

Also saw on their Sportscenter that Nash isn't playing, invade you guys needed extra confirmation.

I think we're in for another Bell Center Nightmare tonight, but we'll see.

I am hoping the Hawks can find a way to pry Ribiero out of DC if Caps start selling

Saad-Toews-Kane
Sharp-Ribiero-Hossa
Bickell-Bolland-Shaw
Stalberg-Kruger-Frolik
(Carcillo/Mayers)

Would be team I would love to see going into playoffs

An embarrassment of riches if I've ever saw one. You'd have a good enough offense and PP to demolish most teams even playing only at 75%-80% of their capability.

Malkin concust...........Pens seem to play well with stars out but hoping they falter and Rangers pick it up

A decent amount of injuries around the league to start the season have now entered into a 'rash' of injuries. And not just minor ones. Severe season enders, and to some of the leagues best players.

Again, I love hockey, at it's highest level is just amazing to watch the speed, hitting, and the determination(some call it grit/jam) on a sheet if ice. But the product is flawed when it comes to safety. Again, it's a pinball machine out there, always has been, but the speed, size and the equipment of today's player is not like the Koho & Jofa's of old.

I would love for this to be acknowledged, but highly doubt it will in the short term. International sized ice is necessary for so many reasons in today's game, but I'm afraid we'll never see it in the NHL.

Just too expensive to alter every existing rink in the league.

Yep, comes down to money. Shame cause I think the time has come. NFL talking about making their field bigger gives me some hope, but their changes really won't affect seating.
