I don't know if it was that malicious. Direct contact to the head for sure though.

Get the instigator out of the game, I suspect you'd see less of these hits. Harder for the players to police themselves now. Heavyweights can only fight other willing heavyweights.

Tarasenko's numbers are facing Olver the whole time. That's what upsets me. The player was absolutely vulnerable, Olver had plenty of time to at the very least let up.

No thank you. He has looked exceptionally bad so far this year but with the coaching change, I wouldn't be surprised to see the Sabres start to turn that roster over a bit. Ott may be on the way out as he is a UFA. Stafford? Leopold? Regehr?

I know it seems early but it really isn't.

didnt the Rangers draft his brother who was a 2ed round pick in 2004.. i wonder why he never stayed in north america. he did have some talent.

I remember saying something like 'after Inman, Billy Ryan, & Olver I'm not so sure I trust the teams instinct on taking these thin framed Centermen.

Something like that.

Again, I was one of the few to even mention Stepan's name on this board before the draft

I thought Regher looked worse when I saw them play the Pens. He was a turnover machine and looked awfully slow.
