True. But at least they won in the Finals after that goal. Devils scored their magical goal and lost. Therefore, does it really bear much significance, looking at the big picture?

Exactly how I see it. We ended a 54 year cup drought and they just ended up losing in the finals. The Doc Emrick build up is the only thing that makes it worth a commercial. Had it been a wrist shot the commercial wouldn't be nearly as exciting, but him being a NJ homer who knows what he would have sputtered out after the goal was scored.

With Gamecenter Live/Center Ice I find it annoying when all the hockey games that are on hit intermissions at the same times, even the ones that are a period behind the other.

They should show the Devils fan reactions videos to the Bernier 5-minute major and LA Kings 3 power play goals.

...hate that commercial.

Oh but when I post how unclassy it is for the Devils to show non stop Devils owning Rangers highlights during the game it's ok

Phoenix just lost Vrbata to a lower body injury. Phoenix announcers were saying no one in the NHL has had to face more adversity with injuries this season.

Ottawa says hello homers. lmao.

I always find it amazing how much hype lucky saves that are made when a goalie is out of position and thus is forced to make a crazy (and lucky) save. #JakeAllan'ssaveisincrediblyoverrated

He was WAY out of the position and then got a lucky stick save. I mean I assume it wasn't 100% lucky but a lot of it was luck.

Are you talking about the St.Louis goalie robbing the flames last night? How in the hell is that lucky and how was he out of postiion? The pass went far to the right, he slid over correctly and the flame player one-touched it right back and the goalie ROBBED brodie. It was a sick save and had little to do with luck.

I agree with you.
It was a great passing play and if they had scored we would have been hearing about that and how great a play it was with all the tic-tac passing. But because it was a goalie who made a nice save after supposedly being out of position he gets ripped.

You want to talk about a goalie out of position go watch some videos of Hasek.

He was so far out of the net he was almost in Edmonton on that play. He sticks his out and that was partially lucky too.

Nice move by Craig Smith in the shootout.

And then Perry also makes a beautiful move. Fasth save, Ducks with another win.

I don't know what toaster oven camera you were watching the play on. The play went to his left, he slid to the left, the one touch went into the slot and he slid back and made a stick save, What part of that is "so far out he was almost in edmonton"

Last game of the night and Edmonton is already down 3-1. Not even worth watching.
I don't know how that team can be so bad with all those top picks.

Trautwig asked fans tonight on Twitter "What made you a hockey fan?"

I sent him the tweet... "It all started with that Sassoon commercial in 78."

He read it out on NHL Live. But he butchered my name

So Ottawa was shut out by the fricken Maple Leafs tonight.

Losing your 1C and your franchise PPG Norris trophy winner will do that to you. No team has been more unlucky with injuries this year. Anyone know how long Spezza is supposed to be out for?

LOL. That's awesome.

I had Trautwig and Iron Mike discuss one of my Twitter questions. Keenan ended up dodging it completely and giving me some "meh" answer.

Pretty much the rest of the reg season from what i've read. Might aswell go for that draft pick

Keenan...That man is crazy!

What did you ask him?

I asked where Ryan Callahan would fit on the '94 Rangers team. Was expecting something like who he may have had chemistry with and what line he played on. Instead got a bunch of mumbo jumbo about heart, grit and everything we already know about the guy.

Oh well. It was cool enough anyway. I'd imagine the same for you. :)

LOL remember the "keep the rock red" or "keep the blue out" pr campaign the Devils ran? where they said if you sell your tickets make sure it's to devils fans? that was rich.
