Aside from that sad broadcast, fun game so far. Scoring chances (No Chico, not 10 in that period you mook), penalty shot, hits. Fun to watch from the exercise bike.

 Make excuses for everyone else I see.

Rangers beat the Bruins twice. Rangers > Bruins. I dont see how being ahead of them 3-1 almost the entire game only to allow 2 goals in the last minute is the bruins "tremendously outplaying" them. But whatever. The Bruins still lost.

If the Bruins won that shootout, would you still suggest Rangers > Bruins? I'm guessing no. The Rangers kept trying to get the puck out by chipping it out on the sideboards, which the Bruins read constantly and hemmed the Rangers in for long periods of time. I can't think of many scoring chances the Rangers had that game, they were just fortunate to cash in.

LA is 5-5 and dead last in their own division. How are they an elite team?

lol. Look at their SA, SF ratio, best fenwick rating in the leauge. They'll win the division this year as law of averages progress. 3rd best fenwick rating in the league.

You are seriously off base if you think the Bruins "tremendously" outplayed the Rangers. Yes they had better puck possession. However, they had few good chances. This was not the Islanders game where every time they came into our zone for a stretch in the game it was an amazing change. BTW, I wonder what you'd say if the Rangers averaged 5 goals against in a 6 game losing streak like the Blues. If you read the posts of Blues fans it wasn't just Elliott either. Yet they're better than the Rangers.
Elliot is clearly a sieve and deserves the blame. Absolutely inexcusable that he allowed 4 goals on 11 shots against. lol.

20 minutes after the penalty shot, Chico is still:

1. Crying about the call.
2. Claiming that Hedberg got it with his glove.

Wow caught up the Flyers-Habs on PVR, the Habs are demolishing the Flyers out there. Lavi's pond hockey system might actually be worse than Torts' all out shot block.

Has Hamonic been on the ice for 2+ minutes?

And I thought that the Rangers are ruining hockey with their shot blocking. But it's OK for any other team.

Am I doing this right?

Oh my God, Chico. Shut up about the damn penalty shot.

Imagine him if Ullstrom scored on it.

And lol Chico, Volchenkov clearly pushed Boyes into Hedberg. An average HF poster could do a better job at color commentary.

I don't think I've ever seen a player blow glorious chances as consistently than Grabner. The guy seems to get a breakaway a game, or some other great chance a game and blow it.

The DeSean Jackson of the NHL.

Thank god he has hands of stone. He would be a 50 goal scorer if he didn't.
(Maybe a slight exaggeration.)
