He’s right on the money with this though
the best thing these intermission reports ever did was bring in smart, articulated former goalies like Hank and Valiquette to do analysis. Really interesting stuff. Much better than hearing guys like Messier or Gretzky speak in the same old cliches. You need that perspective from someone who knows goaltending.
Its a very odd decision. Its the type of goaltending a mite would do. Makes no sense.

It is kind of easy for Hank to get the answer, though. He's got connections to insiders, coaches, anyone.

I think it was Gaborik turned the puck over in that game where we blew a 3-0 1st period lead to Washington in 2011 that led to a tap in goal. That was worse than this one. Or how about game 7 OT and Martinez I believe scored some ugly ass bank shot goal against the Hawks?
