He has not had a good year in 5 years unless you want to count 21-22 where he scored a lot because he shot 22% (career average 11%) and had a lot of points on the PP which is not relevant since he would not be PP1 here. 18-19 is his only season since 2016 where he scored at a strong 2nd line level at 5v5. He also absolutely never shoots so he would be a terrible fit on a line with Panarin.
Yes, we will not count last season because he had a good year😂... and yet his 5v5/EV would've put him in the top 6 here. This shouldn't have even warranted a response from me.

Georgiev finishing higher in the Vezina than Shesty.
While it was 3 points to 2, and I assume both player's points came from their own GM; it is pretty funny

If you want to determine future performance based off a 22% sh% season by all means I wish you the best of luck

Hart: McDavid
Lindsay: McDavid
Norris: Karlsson (even if Fox has a good argument for it. Makar just didn't play enough games and tbh shouldn't have been a finalist over Heiskanen)

Calder: Beniers
Adams: Montgomery
Selke: Bergeron
Byng: Kopitar
Gregory: Zito
Masterton: Letang

Messier: No idea
Clancy: No idea

Taking a cheap flyer in a quick re-tool. Vrana and Hayes are pretty solid business from them.
He's not really cheap at all. Still a couple years to go on that $7M contract with a NTC. I don't think he's lived up to the contract so far.

Edit -- Philly is retaining 50%
