Yeah, exactly. Let's not concern ourselves so much about what the rest of the league is doing and let's just focus on our kids and enjoy their 0.333 PPG production. For whatever they can give us, let's appreciate that.
Methinks you are spending too much time with Buddhist Monks.

I liked Reaves. He was uncanny, off the charts good in the '22 playoffs. But I never understood why he had this rep as a guy who dominates fights. It never happened as a Ranger. It doesn't matter, I don't really care about fighting, but it puzzles me.

It doesn't get brought up enough just how bad it was that we let a 24 year old player who was already scoring at 55+ points a season go for absolutely nothing. Miller now over 300 points as a Nuck in 283 games
yeah still not really happy how that one turned out. was okay with the trade when it initially happened; didn't seem like he was gonna click here. sucks to watch him play balls out elsewhere, for sure

It's amazing how Rod gets his guys to give what seems to be 100 percent every night

Thats part of their issue though.

They go so balls to the walls that by the time they're 2-3 rounds into the playoffs, their honest 100% is like their normal 75%.

Really love their defense though. Just need another scoring forward and they should coast to the cup.

Kreider would be a perfect fit for them.

It's not unheard of that the really good veteran teams start to coast 2-3 weeks before the playoffs. We'll see if they Canes have learnt the lesson of saving some oomph for the real thing.

I think finding that clutch scorer is more of their issue. losing Svech didn't help much with that issue last year. Bunting could help them a bit but he is definitely not on Kreider's level. Kreider would definitely look good in a Canes uniform.

Their board was funny. It was so bad they all kind of said "well, wasn't that was something" Very Canadian response when you think about it.
It certainly is. My wife is a Canuck and said almost the same thing about the win!

Top 5 pick from a couple years ago Kent Johnson a healthy scratch in a season opener with a team not going anywhere this season. Hmmm...

Won’t let me post Twitter links from my phone for some reason, but just saw Motte is out long term with an UBI.

Drury vindicated again

I seem to remember there was a poster here hyping Boqvist to be the greatest D prospect in the history of history. Very insistent to this if I recall correctly too.

Know it alls don’t always know it all.

Unless Key breaks out for like 80 points, this feels like it sets a ceiling for what he can get on his next contract.
