It's actually hilarious that Torts has verbally blown up goalies everywhere he's gone all the way back during his Tampa days to now with Errsson but we've never had that issue with Henrik.

The penguins should have played better if they didn't want their GM to sell off players.
That wasn't Subban's point though. They gave up, prematurely, and it's obvious now. The East and especially the Metro has been really bad this year.

Flyers just counting down the days until they are on vacation, the Torts shelf life knows no bounds.
The Flyers have one very good player in Konecny and a few nice young pieces like Tippett. I don't understand how anyone can think they are on the level of any of the 7 established playoff teams in the East?!?! It's not even close.
Even a good coach can only do so much.

They did nothing wrong. They had to make a decision by the deadline with Guentzel and at that time they were playing poorly at it looked like they would miss the playoffs. The alternative was letting Guentzel walk away for nothing as a FA.

holy hell the wheels, the doors, the engine, the steering wheel....everything has fallen off for the flyers. feel bad for them, team that floored it all year long working their bag off to punch above their weight class getting annihilated nuked out of a playoff spot they'd held since like october. they just simply don't have the talent right now to compete when everyone else has their foot on the gas.

will say i think cbj could be a team that sneaks up on a lot of people next year. if they get the right coach, they have way more talent than most realize because they're such a disaster structurally. they gotta drop laine to have any chance at that tho..the guy just radiates an aura of a person that's miserable to be around. i feel bad for the guy but if i'm a gm i wouldn't want him in the same time zone as my locker room
