Lindy will coach his final game in LA. He'll be fired when they get back from the western road trip.

I think the Devils making moves to try to “go for it” and get into the playoffs would be a pretty big mistake. They have skill, but the goaltending is bad, and they might be one of the softest teams in the league.

The clear cup favorites. Dynasty in the making. Pre-season champs and everything lmao
Pre-season predictions of them being the tops in Division / Conf means that so far they underperformed by about 20 points. Also now they are closer to 13th place Sabres - that’s been out of playoff competition well before New Year’s - than 8th place Flyers for the last playoff spot!!!! I wasn’t joking when I said they’re better do an immediate coaching change if they want any chance of salvaging their season.

Otherwise I’m loving seeing NJD specifically struggling so much, and this playoff race among all NY Rangers most hated rivals in general fighting for basically one playoff spot so most will be crashed at the end.

Watching NJ this season is magical. Losing to the Ducks on a PS with two seconds left? A whiff by Jackie PooPoo?? Unbelievably satisfying.

It’s like if Buffalo or Ottawa fans weren’t aware of how bad their team is and asked with each painful loss or move ‘no other cup contender’ is doing this. Might be time to wake up.

I wouldn't even bother asking. The fact that the Rangers used that pick to trade for rental-Tarasenko kind of makes it just a big whatever burger in my book. Maybe having that picked saved us from trading our 1st pick (Perrault) but I would like to think the Rangers make that trade work in some other way. The Rangers tend to draft well in the 20s so wasn't a fan of trading that pick. Actually though Mikkola was more impactful than Tarasenko.
They do better in later rounds so might as well trade all the picks for later rounds 😆
