It’s a common mistake - folks see the jerseys and pronounce it “roweegoons” and think we’re from a town called “Rowi” or other weird stuff. We’re known around the competition at home though and the fans that sit in Row H and Row J around us even call themselves “Row I Goons” now. It’s a fun thing as we lead the chants and the post+goal cellys from the stands and try to rev up the crowd. Last season a LOT of the players would tell us after the games that they definitely hear us and they love it which is nice.

Trying to watch the Rangers game and read up on this trade. It’s crazy right now. Lol.

Drysdale will be a very good D man, But with Mintyukov, Luneau, and Zellweger in the system, a decision had to be made , and the Ducks need more scoring up Front in their system.

Am I crazy to think that the Flyers did really well getting Drysdale? Gauthier is a winger with some questionable hockey sense. Maybe he becomes a Kreider+ type player. I’d rather have the potential top pair puck moving D.

I feel like Drysdale has played 2 games in 2 years. I can't imagine missing all of that development time was very good for him. Looked like a lock to be a stud before the shoulder injury though.

Gauthier does a ton of things really well above the OZ and his vision is actually not that bad when he decides not to just fire everything at the net. Yeah thats a hockey sense thing but I think he's a good player who I will no longer refer to as turd cutter. I dont see the Kreider comp really, looks more like a better version of Benoit Pouliot.

If Drysdale stays healthy, they will win that trade, no doubt. Somehow they got a 2nd round pick too, which is basically a late 1st.

Drysdale reminds of Werenski great talent but more hurt than not although he is worth taking a gamble on someone like that depending on the cost.

I feel the same way. I watch a lot of BC hockey and Gauthier is a very talented, but pretty dumb hockey player. It will be interesting to see how his game translates to the NHL because he’s seemingly got Brodzinski level “skate fast shoot puck” hockey sense.

Ducks have the D prospect pool depth to make this happen. Ducks needed more scoring up front, and have guys like Mintyukov, Luneau, and Zellweger in the system. Luneau looked very impressive in the few games he played.

Also, they will most likely add another D in this draft, see them picking Top 5 again.

Drysdale has #2 potential, but not impressed with his QB’ing on the PP, and he cannot stay healthy. So it was a gamble. With this move Mintyukov goes back to the PP, and him, McTavish and Carlsson had some magic going, they were 33% on the PP together. Now the Ducks are icing like a 3% PP, since Leo went down and Minty got demoted.

I don’t think Drysdale is all that
