Elliott Friedman just stated this on "X".
Ardvisson has a Full NMC which is not generally known. Affects the Oilers TDL.

Dog, I was looking at Kane’s page last week when the noise was going on about his March 1 partial NMC and I then looked at the entire team’s roster to see who else had NMC, full, partial or modified. I could have sworn I saw it on Arvidssons page. But I was scrolling and maybe I have it confused. Either way, it’s concerning. It’s as if Jackson was taking a page out of Holland’s NHL GM For Dummies handbook. There really was no need for full NMC protection.JJ's failure of an off-season just gets worse and worse and WORSE. How is this guy still employed?
Was it? In all our TDL banter on this site, I haven't seen anybody bring up a NMC once. Maybe I missed that post though.
So hockey experts sometimes don't do much research? Elliotte should go into politics. It’s been on puckpedia prior to Elliotte learning. He should do some research.
It was either changed right before his post or right after. It wasn’t on puckpedia yesterdayIt’s been on puckpedia prior to Elliotte learning. He should do some research.
I had the page open this morning and it didn't state an NMC for arvy. Refreshed the page half an hour later, and it was there. I'm 99% sure I wasn't mistaken.Dog, I was looking at Kane’s page last week when the noise was going on about his March 1 partial NMC and I then looked at the entire team’s roster to see who else had NMC, full, partial or modified. …..Legendary levels of incompetence in this org. The Sabres aren't this poorly run.
Lol. You are gonna be soooooo disappointed. Ha ha.wow, that signing just keeps getting better and better. What's next, are you going to tell me it's a 2 year deal and we have to have next year as well???could you even imagine?
Except it allows them to entirely control the landing spot and it handcuffs GMs towards that end, who sometimes aren’t the GMs who signed them to these stupid deals.Does it really matter? Pretty much every player that gets moved has one now a days.
Players are proud they go when needed.
When’s the last time it’s really handcuffed a team? A player will always go somewhere out of 32 teamsExcept it allows them to entirely control the landing spot and it handcuffs GMs towards that end, who sometimes aren’t the GMs who signed them to these stupid deals.
That’s a bit of a silly statement. You may never know “The last time”, because the teams might have been working quietly to convince a player to waive, who declined, and thus weren’t able to move said players at the time they wanted to. Information like that doesn’t always go public (see Seabrook, Phaneuf etc.).When’s the last time it’s really handcuffed a team? A player will always go somewhere out of 32 teams
Discounted? You kidding. For a player coming off two serious back surgeries that missed almost the complete last season and who is basically unknown goods post injuries? Did the team learn nothing from the Connor Brown waste of time and money? Rhetorical question, we know they didn't. People can look back at my posts in July. This was a horrible contract and signing I wanted no part of. Arvid is washed. Done. In recent seasons all Arvid was anyway was a high event player cheating for offense and with brutal GA and giveaways. He wasn't much and didn't fit the bill of what was needed here at all.He signed here at a discounted rate which is always a sign of some type of NMC. Even though he's been garbage this year he seems to still be considered a decent player around the league considering Sweden picked him to be in the lineup.
