VAN GM Mike Gillis and asst GM Laurence Gilman taking in the WSH-PIT game today in D.C.

No games this year between teams from different conferences, right, so they're not scouting for an upcoming game.

Luongo to Washington?

I would have much rather had the isles win today, but they were tied in points before tonight, so it doesn't matter just glad they didn't go to OT. New York Rangers better come to play on Tuesday against the Devils! The Rangers NEED to win this game to starting getting point against divisional opponents!

Definitely key games this week. Pittsburgh and Philly are separating themselves in the Atlantic (in opposite directions) so the Rangers are going to need to stay ahead of NJD and NYI to ensure a playoff berth and hopefully home ice.

Not the worst option if we need a warm body until Callahan comes back, but he's more of a top-six or bust player, IMO. I think he could crack a 2nd line spot if given the right opportunity, but I don't think we're in a position to be experimenting with kids.

he has pro expierence. it not like he is an 18 year old rookie. he has been in the AHL for a few years.. i can see NYR claiming him. they can use some depth. cant be worse than seeing Bickel on the ice at forward.. maybe Hagelin can put in a good word. i dont recall if they were ever on the same line in college.

I would claim him because he has some NHL experience and he can skate well. Still young @ 23 as well. Free talent.

I highly doubt he makes it to the Rangers. I bet the Islanders pick him up.

well i thought by now since it is february 4, Rangers would get the waiver pick before the Islanders based on this year's standings.. i hope this takes affect soon.

movement with back leg called as kicking motion in Bozak's called off goal. The slightest motion combined with stopping motion :dunno:
