I really want to see Clowe and Lucic have a go this year. Battle of the two best top 6 fighters out there.

Redden even rating played with Pietrangelo 21 min . How was this guy so bad for NYR and now playing top pairing minutes on one of best teams in the league now ?

Clowe would be great here but as someone pointed out, he's going to get a 3-4 year deal at $5.2-5.5 million and he's not that type of player. His scoring is also down and will decline as he hits his early 30s.

I actually have an agreement with a Blues fan that if the Blues win it all, I have to have the Blues jersey I got in Canada on clearance in the early 2000s customized with Redden's name/# and send it to him.

hes able to be effective cause he has a top 5 defenseman to cover him so he can take risks and pinch.

Glad Ottawa lost too bad it was to the Pens, I feel like the Sens are getting cocky? Probably just a bad taste in my mouth from last year even though most their posters were cool. Glad Winnipeg and Tampa won, wish St. Louis, Chicago, and San Jose would start losing.
