I’m legitimately happy for Phil Kessel. Apparently he was genuinely upset that nobody traded for him last year at the Dealdine, so to see him raise the cup one more time after that is awesome.

AgreeMaurice is full of class. What a fantastic eloquent interview...never seen anything like that from the losing coach in any sport.
The guy who just won playoff MVP was on our farm team and we thought he wasnt worth an contract.
Another year, another group of ex-Rangers hoisting the cup
2023: Howden-Marchessault (even though he didn't play for the parent club, HFBoards remembers!)
2022: J.Johnson
2021: McDonagh
2020: McDonagh-Shattenkirk
2017: Hagelin
2016: Hagelin
2015: Richards-Rozsival
2014: Gaborik
2013: Rozsival
Emily Kaplan would NEVER do you dirty like that. Call me if you need a divorce attorney.Wife: do you want to get a VGK champions t-shirt?
WHAT THE f*** WOMAN?
Do you mean 2005-2006 when you write 2005? If so the Canes won that year and had Doug Weight.MDZ was on the Blues 2019 roster
2012: No-one
2011: Savard
2010: Kim Johnsson was on the roster
2009: Dupuis and Sykora
2008: Samuelsson
2007: Marchant
2005: no-one
So 3 teams (2018, 2011, 2005) haven't had an ex-Ranger when they lifted the Cup since the lockout
I did, and I can't believe I forgot Weight!Do you mean 2005-2006 when you write 2005? If so the Canes won that year and had Doug Weight.
Does the NHLPA have a store that sells blondes for these guys to shop at? All their wives look identical to one another.
we offered him a contract...
Emily saying Merci Beaucoup to Marchessault took him to the next level honestly
He's had the same hairstyle for a half century
Ja
Mathew Tkachuk is everything I was hoping Kreider would become...
I dont understand your Goodrow reference. The Whale moved to Carolina 25 years ago.....they gave him an ATO when he was 5?While Jonathan Marchessault signed with Columbus for a better shot at the NHL (which he never really got there either), Rangers brass (and many here!) thought the more promising 5'9" player in the system was Christian Thomas.
And also don't forget, you can't teach size, that's why the other LWs in NYR system that year and following did so well. I hope they have room in the rafters for:
- Aaron Voros - 6'4
- Brandon Mashinter - 6'4
- Wojtek Wolski - 6'3
- Nick Palmieri - 6'3
- Marek Hrivik - 6'2
The other one that got away was Barclay Goodrow. He had an ATO with the Whale (ugh, when they were the f*&king WHALE) and they ultimately did not play/sign.
Person is talking about the Connecticut Whale, which was what the Rangers AHL affiliate was called for 2 seasons.I dont understand your Goodrow reference. The Whale moved to Carolina 25 years ago.....they gave him an ATO when he was 5?
