Our Rangers could NEVER do this. The Vegas owner said they'd win a Cup within five years. Rangers, in the 2018 letter, promised us...to be Cup contenders in a few years. BIG difference. One is a winning mentality; the other is just pathetic and doesn't believe in their ability to win it all.
The Rangers won the cup in their second year, though, during a time where it was significantly harder to build a team.

Second most*

Boston still beefed it more than the Rangers did.
Boston. Cassidy.
The ultimate loser refers to chain of nothing but losing from the Stanley Cup Champion all the way back through the first round. Only one team occupies this spot each year.

Vegas beat Florida, Florida beat Carolina, Carolina beat NJ, NJ beat us.

I don't think we've been the ultimate loser before, at least not in a long time.

Hard to conclude anything except that championships sometimes aren't won on paper.

Lots of luck in a 16-28 game stretch.

Apologies if it’s been asked already, but….

Does anyone legit think we could have taken Vegas in the final?

Or is the wound still too raw to discuss this…..??
