The Wild were skating in mud at the end of that ot game, lucky they got the win, this could be a drubbing tonight.

It's why I was hoping the Isles won tonight. At least prolong the series a bit.

Speaking of 2nd round matchups. Would the Rangers play either the Hurricanes or Isles if they got there?
I'm sure the Islanders will get a game maybe 2 in this series. Plus they will surely injure another Cane maybe 2.

Ullmark being exposed tonight for what he always has been…an above average goalie. You don’t become elite overnight when you have a stacked team in front of you.

Boston may still end up winning this series but this shows they are beatable. Their regular season means nothing now.

Gotta laugh at the cubs and fish sticks. Boston learning very quickly that their regular season record doesn’t matter anymore.

That was the Islanders' 9-0 PP advantage for the Penguins except they didn't get their instant classic win and it's in the playoffs.

This is what the Bruins get for resting Bergeron in a playoff game. Be cocky, get burned. Now the Panthers bloodied them going back home
Supposedly it was an illness not a serious injury but who knows???
I am sure he is gonna be taking some magic pills and will be back for game 3. As good as they are their center depth is Zajac/Krejci right now.
