I haven't searched too hard but watching the angles from the NHL site's replay, it's tough to tell from some shots. When I watch it in real time (the camera is pointing at Bouwmeester/Meier's backs), it looks like it could have hit Bouwmeester's leg in some fashion by the way it bounces. It was spinning when Meier hit it, but it kind of looks like the motion of the puck changes when Bouwmeester sticks his leg out. Looking at it from the camera pointing at Bouwmeester/Meier's fronts (one replay starts around 34 seconds, and another more slo-mo replay around 54 seconds), it doesn't look like it touches anyone before Nyquist.

Carolina was never a SCF caliber team. I'll always be grateful to them for humiliating the Piles but they don't deserve to be in the SCF. Just hoping San Jose can take out Boston in the final.
