The NHL has not yet, after all these decades, called the games consistently across games, and even worse, intra-game.
That should be mind-boggling, yet it is the norm.

Absolutely. Washington played a real heavy game last year. nhl loves that style.

The Bruins are simply a better team than the Blues. I doubt this series goes more than 6.

I think there is just too much talent and experience on the Bruins. Look at some of the best defensemen over the years, lots of them had their tricks that officials accommodated (not sure if you remember Chelios, but great example of talent with extreme dirty. Pronger was another perfect example.) Not saying Chara is in that league talent-wise, but he is effective when it comes to winning. If the B's lost Marchand for some reason, yes that would be a big thing. This game actually seems to have become less emotionally charged since it looked like it was hitting a flash point earlier.

Funny you mentioned that, they showed a stat in the third period that this was the first time since 2014 that a team came from 2 goals down to win a game in the finals. Gave me Vietnam flashbacks that’s for damn sure, thanks AV!

Too many people were celebrating them like they won the whole thing already before they had even played game in the Final yet.
