Sometimes you watch a team and feel that they’re playing “to not lose.”

I...don’t really know what the Stars are playing in this game.

Logically the Blues should win. But at this point, you almost want the Stars to win if for no other reason than Bishop.

I'll settle for 100 of those mugs instead of a chance at the 1st.

I’m not sure what exactly describes Dallas’ game right now.

Benn has been bad but did Seguin just go home? I haven't heard his name all OT, he's supposed to be the sniper and is spezza scratched? Confusing lines in dallas
He’s a liability. Him and Fedun.

While the Blues had all the possession that overtime, almost felt like the Stars wound up with more high danger chances.

I think they said this is his 6th game 7, guys like that are what makes a team go when their captain and top 3 player is asleep in ot of a game 7 in playoffs
Yeah, and just watching him, he works his butt off all the time. I remember when he entered the league, the buzz was all about how fast he was which was true but the guy is a pro.

Yes and no. Michael Sauer, Stepan, Anisimov, and Dubinsky were all 2nd rounders.

It’s a tale of two teams.

Prior to 2008 they were solid. Since that time, they’ve been a failure.

Now some of that is a result of them only picking a player in the second 60 percent of the time, but they should still be better than one Boo Nieves selection over that span as well.

Having said that, I think any seconds will be on the trade table in this draft.

Our boys not being in the playoffs...don't get me wrong, I can't wait till we are back which IMO will be next year. But still with our team not in, it sure makes the playoffs more enjoyable to watch from an empirical perspective..that's for damn sure. Heck this might be the best playoffs I've ever seen in close to 45 years...it's been phenomenal.
