They've been building towards this for a while.

If there is anything to take away from this is when you have the space, take on a bad contract to get a player, thats how Terevainen ended up there.

Canes are so much faster than the Isles. Funny how ALL Piles fans including friends of mine were all happy they ended up with the Canes instead of the Caps. I told a few of them to be careful what you wish for as it kind of reminded me of how we were so happy in '17 when we ended up #1 WC and only had to deal with the Canadians and then Sens. We all know how that turned out for us. All my Piles fan friends scoffed at me....hmmmmm....lol
